We built this deck using a Woodtone composite from Lowe's called ChoiceDek. It has a lifetime guarantee
and is transferrable when you sell your house. We also installed their outdoor speakers and built a BBQ table at no extra charge. The step that was left uncovered was painted to match the decking. The small extension shown below was built for the new gas grill location.
