This deck was built in place of the original builder's deck. The size was increased to 16x12 from 16x8 and a stairway to the ground level and pool area was added. I used Cedar decking and treated lumber framing. The railing is made with metal balusters and Cedar railing top trim. Underneath is a patio covering that is fully shingled and trimmed out in Cedar.
