Decks 44 Redoing Our Main Deck

Between Christmas and New Year's Day I completely redid my woodshop and our decks outside. I finally got time to finish the skirting and in the process decided to replace the railing on our main deck with a full length
step to the yard. This is a design I have built many of and it really opens up the deck area to the rest of the yard. I skirted the entire deck with PT Pine fence boards.

I also converted the railing near the old Pecan tree with a breakfast bar for four. All we have to do is relocate the bar stools from the dining room and they fit perfectly under the surface.

I call this area 'the cafe'. We have three two seater tables
and a breakfast bar for two amongst the smokers.
