The
first deck was a redo, the size was increased from 27x8 to 27x14 and two
flower box/seats
were
added in place on the old railing...some of which can still be
seen
in the hot tub area. I also re-picketed the
fence
around the backyard.

This
two-level deck was built from scratch without helpers...definitely my most
ambitious project
to
date. The total area of both decks was a little over 1200 sq.ft. The railing
was made to
match
the front railing on the porch of the home...it was built in the early
1920's.
