Crossroads Guitar Festival
Next up we had
ZZ Top....That Little 'Ole Band from Texas! When they launched into
Beer Drinkers
and Hell Raisers, I knew I would come away happy that they had played.
I've always liked the band and have seen them more than a few times over
the years. They were great that night
and put a very
nice finish on the day. I wish they had been joined with Eric and Jeff,
but the storm was gathering and no one knew what to expect, so the show
was shortened.
ZZ played many
recognizable tunes including Tush, Just got Paid,
La Grange, Cheap
Sunglasses, I'm Bad, I'm Nationwide, Sharp Dressed Man & Legs. Seeing
them
was great
and even though is was cut short, they were energetic right to the last
song.
After the few
shots I got that were clear (I had found a temporary 'tripod' on the seat
back next to me, but
that didn't last
long), I got some more shots that weren't and played a bit more
with the sharpening
tool in Photopaint.
All in all we
had a blast that day and I hope everyone has enjoyed these pics and the
comments as much as I
did putting them
all together. See you at the next show!!
