Crossroads Guitar Festival
James Taylor came
out next and played Sweet Baby James, Carolina in My Mind, Copperline and
the world famous Steamroller Blues. The latter was of course the best and
he had Joe Walsh come out and join him.
Jana pointed out
that he never actually said the words "I'm gonna roll right over you" as
he had in the live versions of the song before. We all thought that was
strange, but the song was good nonetheless.
I have always liked
James Taylor, even though I am not exactly sure why since his music
doesn't seem to
fit my mold of blues and rock. It was great to finally see him live and
I enjoyed his set.
