Crossroads
Guitar
Festival
The Godfather of
jazz guitarists has always been John McLaughlin. His guitar work has been
duly noted
since the early
70's and we got to see why. He was incredible. Too bad his sound crew had
the guitar mixed the wrong way for a stadium show. He sounded muffled and
only trained ears could make out all the
incredible notes
he conjured from the guitar. Nevertheless, the crowd was enthusiastic during
his set.
I didn't get very good shots of John as you can see. I was too busy listening...:)
