We like this place!!
This time we camped
in a different spot, but I get ahead of myself. On the way up, the rain
was so hard
I could barely
see out of the windshield. When it finally stopped, we were in Idabel....home
of the Musclecar Museum. Since it was late and I was worn out from driving
in the rain, we stopped
at a motel for
the night...that's when the Buffalo started it's problems. First we lost
an alternator...
that was the
easy one. I fixed it the next morning and we headed out for the campsite.
The pics below are funny...we unloaded the whole truck into the motel room. It probably would have been okay outside, but since it was pouring, I decided to move it all in...
This was me after driving two plus hours in a driving rain. I was toast...only had one beer....
